The First Meaningful Loop
A practical guide to Parposi’s first loop: speak from one real moment, keep the sparks that fit, draft a direction, and try one small experiment.
The first Parposi loop is intentionally small. It is not meant to solve your whole career at once. It helps you make one honest pass through evidence, direction, and action.
1. Start With One Real Moment
Bring a moment from life or work. It can be energizing, frustrating, unresolved, or oddly memorable. Specific evidence is better than a polished personal statement.
2. Review Sparks
As you talk, Parposi collects possible sparks. You review them before they become part of your map. Keep what feels accurate, edit what is close, and set aside what does not fit.
3. Read The Snapshot
The Aliveness Snapshot reflects your sparks, the thread between them, and one tension worth holding gently. It is a mirror, not a verdict.
4. Draft A Direction
The North Star Draft v0.1 is a hypothesis. It should be clear enough to test and humble enough to rewrite.
5. Try A Small Experiment
Work Seeds become small, real-world experiments. A good experiment is concrete, low-risk, and close enough to do within a week.
6. Return With Evidence
When you come back, the question is not whether you obeyed the plan. Done, not done, resisted, or changed all count as signals. The Living Map grows from that reality contact.
